One of the classes of hardox steel plates is Hardox Extreme-steel, which has extremely high abrasion resistance. The hardox material has a high degree of strength and is resistant to corrosion and abrasion. The material comes in many grades, but the Hardox 600 - Extra hard and strong steel for extreme wear - has a very high level of corrosion and abrasion resistance. The material has a hardness between 650 and 700HBW. The applications involve some of the parts that are most susceptible to abrasion, like liner plates. The hardest grades in the hardox family are the Hardox Extreme Plates.
